Happy Tuesday! Hoping this week is more productive then the last weekend.
Maybe it’s the summer weather or that my family is on a beach and I’m not but this last weekend writers block hit hard.
Like a race car skidding off the track with flames on the wheels.
I switched projects. Tried free writing. Re-typing scenes. My favorite tea. Getting out.
And… nada…
It just couldn’t be forced. It’s still there even this post is like trying to walk through quick sand.
But this has happened before usually when a scene or plot point I thought was great wasn’t working so later today that’s where I’ll start. Or skip.
What do you do when writers block hits?
