According to legend there are two worlds living side by side connected only thinly by a portal. Dea goddess of light has created the world called Sillimanite and her brother Dedus created Hadean a world full of dark and little light. Centuries ago Dea’s youngest daughter, Sarai and Dedus’s oldest son, Abaddon fall in love, they pose the largest threat to both worlds. Dedus’s youngest son Angelus, seeing the perfect opportunity to destroy the family he despises helps them to destroy the evidence. Dea’s creations found a loop hole in the magic and buy some time.
A century ago, the inrigare Queen, Shamisé worked a powerful curse to trap the body and soul of Angelus, the Angel, but her curse could only hold him for a century and over time the magic of Dea would deteriorate. To do so she requested the help of the three other rulers, together they secured him away. Each ruler paid a price that affected their heirs over the next century. Queen Kekona of the long lived priorians was blessed with a daughter a year before the end of the century. A month later King Midas of the Corpus too had his first child, a daughter and King Draco had his second child a daughter and two years later lost his oldest child. Lastly, Queen Catherine, Shamisé heir, had a daughter a month later.
But it was not to be for Queen Catherine, she slowly descended into madness as she fought off Angelus’s advances. When she died along with her child, Angelus’s forces retreated and peace spread.
A new name has started to gain notoriety, Klytië, they call her. Some say she is Angelus’s devil reborn in flesh. Rumors says she has the power of Dea’s daughters and the only ones with the power to stop her are the three Princesses. The Thirteen, heirs to the Council of Elders ruling in Queen Catherine’s stead, after pleading with the daughters to interfere when she disappears for six months, intend to seek her out. What will they do when they discover she isn’t who she says she is? Or when they discover just how deep her connections to ancient magic go?
